  • Location Data: Requested when you use the Qibla Finder or search for nearby mosques. Location data is not stored or shared.
  • App Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect non-personalized, aggregate data to improve app performance and user experience.
  • AI Interactions: Inputs made to the Beyt AI are processed temporarily to generate responses. These inputs are not stored or associated with your identity.

2. Third-Party Services

Beyt integrates with trusted third-party services to enhance functionality:

  • Firebase Analytics: For collecting anonymous usage statistics. Refer to Firebase’s Privacy Policy.
  • RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. Refer to RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging: Used for delivering push notifications. Firebase’s privacy policy applies.

3. Data Storage

  • Your personal data is stored locally on your device.
  • Mosques and prayer rooms added by users to the map are stored on our servers, so that everyone can view and benefit from these contributions.

Beyt employs industry-standard security practices to protect data stored locally, including encryption and secure coding methodologies.

5. User Controls

  • Data Management: Users have full control over their data. Uninstalling the app deletes all locally stored information.
  • Location Permissions: Users can enable or disable location access through device settings.

6. AI Data Usage

Beyt AI provides responses based on user inputs. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses are not stored or used for purposes other than immediate functionality. Users are encouraged to consult qualified scholars for specific religious advice.

7. Data Sharing

Beyt does not share user data with any third parties, except as required by law or when using integrated third-party services (e.g., Firebase and RevenueCat) in line with their privacy policies.
